Jobright Alternative: Autofill You Can Review Before It Submits
Jobright bundles job matching, resume tailoring, referrals and autofill on a subscription. Here is what it does, what it costs per reviews, and a narrower option. Checked 28 Oct 2026.

TL;DR: Jobright is a broad job-search suite: AI job matching, a tailored resume per posting, referral outreach, an AI copilot called Orion and application autofill. People look for an alternative for three usual reasons: they want only the autofill part, they want to review each form before it is sent, or the subscription renews and they would rather pay for a block of applications. AceRound Auto Apply is the narrower answer. I checked Jobright's own homepage and 2026 reviews on 28 October 2026, and I mark what I could not verify.
I work on the AceRound side, so weigh this accordingly. I'll stick to what is written on Jobright's public site, what reviewers have published, and what I know about our own product.
What Jobright actually is
Jobright's homepage describes five things in one place:
- AI job matching. A large job hub (the site claims 8,000,000+ jobs and 400,000+ new ones daily) with matches based on your skills.
- 1-click application autofill. It says it works "across all major ATS platforms."
- A job-specific tailored resume, generated per posting.
- Insider referrals: finding alumni and hiring managers to message.
- Orion, an AI career copilot, plus a newer AI Agent.
The homepage also lists "3,000,000 trusted users" and "3x interviews landed." Those are the company's own numbers and I can't verify them. The site also doesn't show prices on the public pages I could open, so everything about cost below comes from reviews.
What it costs, according to reviews
A review published 15 October 2026 by Jobstrack.io (a competitor of Jobright's job-alert side, so keep that in mind) lists the paid Turbo plan at $39.99 per month, $17.99 per week and about $89.99 per quarter, with a free plan that has limited daily use. It says Jobright subscriptions renew automatically and that cancelling does not itself refund a charge. Its prices come from an in-account screenshot dated 21 August 2026, so treat them as a reference, not a quote. Another October review says checkout prices may differ.
The weekly plan is the one to do the maths on: four weekly payments is $71.96 before you've noticed a month went by.
Why people look for an alternative
When I read job-seeker threads about all-in-one tools, three complaints repeat. They are worth testing against any product, Jobright or ours:
- You pay for a suite and use one feature. If you only wanted forms filled, the matching, referrals and copilot are extras you're renewing.
- You don't know what was sent in your name. Work authorization, salary and free-text answers are where autofill can say something you wouldn't.
- Billing doesn't end by itself. Auto-renewing weekly or monthly plans are the common pattern. Look for a one-time pack or a hard end date.

What AceRound Auto Apply does differently
Auto Apply is a desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux). It deliberately does less than Jobright:
- Official ATS pages only. The job library comes from company boards on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Workable, and the application is filled on the employer's own page.
- You set the range. Role, location or remote, level, companies to exclude. The AI recommends inside that range, and a job joins your apply list only after you confirm it.
- It runs in your own Chrome on your computer, so you can watch each step.
- It stops before Submit by default. You see the filled form and a screenshot first. If a required answer isn't in your profile, such as a visa-sponsorship question, it shows you the blocker instead of guessing. You can switch to fully automatic submission in settings if you prefer.
- Open questions are written from your résumé and the job description, and you can read them before anything goes out.
What it does not have: a standalone résumé builder, a referral finder, or a copilot chat for networking. If those are why you use Jobright, keep Jobright.
Side by side, as of 28 October 2026
| Jobright | AceRound Auto Apply | |
|---|---|---|
| Free start | Free plan, limited daily use | 5 applications |
| Paid pricing | Turbo: about $39.99/mo, $17.99/wk, ~$89.99/qtr per reviews; auto-renews | $29 for 50 applications, one-time, no expiry; or $49 for 30 days unlimited, no auto-renewal |
| What counts as one application | Not stated publicly | Form filled to Submit, or submitted. Failed, skipped and re-run do not count |
| Job source | Aggregated job hub (8M+ claimed) | Official ATS career pages (5 platforms) |
| Review before submit | Not stated on the public page | Pauses before Submit by default |
| Résumé tailoring | Yes, per posting | Answers written per job; no separate résumé builder |
| Referrals / networking | Yes | No |
| Interview help | Orion (career copilot) | AceRound Interview Copilot, sold separately |
| Platforms | Web | Windows, macOS, Linux desktop |
One fairness line on our Unlimited plan: after 40 applications in 24 hours, new ones are spaced about 10 minutes apart rather than blocked. I'd rather you read it here than find it mid-run.
Who should stay, who should switch
Stay with Jobright if you want matching, tailored résumés and referral outreach under one login and you actually use all of it.
Try Auto Apply if your target companies hire through Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters or Workable (most startups and many large tech employers do), you want to read every form before it goes out, and you'd rather buy a block of applications than a subscription.
Both is a reasonable setup: find and tailor in one tool, fill and review in the other.
A five-minute test for any autofill tool
- Pick five roles you'd really want and run them in review mode only.
- Read every filled field, especially work authorization, salary and free-text answers.
- Count how many you'd have sent unchanged. Fewer than four of five means it saves typing, not judgment.
- Find the cancel button and the renewal date before you enter a card.
Once the applications start turning into interviews, the next problem is the interview itself, which is what AceRound's interview copilot is for. The free Auto Apply tier is enough to run the test above first.
FAQ
What is the best Jobright alternative?
It depends on which part you used. For a similar suite, look at other all-in-one tools. If you mainly want forms filled and want to see each one first, AceRound Auto Apply is the narrower option.

There's a free plan and a paid Turbo plan. Reviews from October 2026 quote about $39.99 a month with auto-renewal; confirm the current price in your account.
