AI Interview Copilot for live interviews

An AI interview copilot listens to the interview, transcribes each question and puts answer points on your own screen while you reply in your own words.

AceRound’s Interview Copilot does it in about a second, in a desktop window that screen sharing does not capture — and the first 30 minutes are free, without a card.

Let us start with a quick introduction — walk me through what you have been working on.

Key Points Backend engineer on ML serving | own performance and reliability of the inference path | built the feature service from scratch this year

Reference Answer I work on the serving side of machine learning systems, mostly the performance and reliability of the inference path. Over the past year I built our feature service from scratch.

What was the peak QPS that service handled?

Key Points Peak around 3k per second | 800 to 1000 in steady state | capacity planned at 1.5× peak

Reference Answer Peak was around three thousand a second during sale events, and steady state sits between eight hundred and a thousand. We planned capacity at one and a half times the peak.

One question, start to finish

What happens between the interviewer finishing a sentence and you starting yours.

  1. 0.0s

    The interviewer asks

AceRound hears the call through your computer — Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex or a phone on speaker. Nothing joins the meeting.

  2. live

The question is transcribed as it is spoken

You can read it back while they are still talking, which already helps on long, multi-part questions.

  3. 0.98s

    Answer points appear

Median time from the end of the question to the first words on screen, measured on real interviews. Structure first, detail after.

  4. next

    You answer, they follow up

The copilot keeps the whole conversation, so the second and third follow-up get the same treatment as the opening question.

Free AI interview copilots, side by side

A first-round interview runs 30 to 45 minutes. A free plan is only useful if one session can last that long.

Out of the screen share by design

The answer window is a native desktop window, not a browser tab or something injected into the meeting page. Windows and macOS exclude it from screen sharing, window capture and screenshots, and clicks pass through it.

Sharing your entire screen on a Mac has one caveat, covered in the macOS screen-share guide. The free mock interview is the place to check your exact setup.

Questions people ask first

What is an AI interview copilot?
An AI interview copilot is software that listens to a live job interview, transcribes the interviewer’s question and shows suggested answer points on your own screen while you reply in your own words. AceRound’s Interview Copilot runs as a desktop app for Windows and macOS and puts the first words of a suggestion on screen about one second after the question ends.
Is there a free AI interview copilot?
Yes. Every new AceRound account includes 30 minutes of live Interview Copilot help, 1 mock interview and 2 question predictions, with no credit card. The 30 minutes can be spent in a single session, which covers a typical first-round interview, and the clock starts when you press Start — not while you set up.
Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. You sign up with an email address, Google or GitHub, and the free minutes are on the account straight away. There is no trial that converts into a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel.
What happens when the free minutes run out?
Live suggestions stop and the app tells you the time is used up. To keep going you buy time yourself — the smallest option is the $9.90 Starter Pack with 60 minutes that never expire. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
How much does AceRound cost after the free plan?
Every purchase is one-time: a $9.90 Starter Pack (60 minutes, never expire), a 7-Day Pass at $24.90, a 30-Day Pass at $39.90 or a 90-Day Pass at $69.90. None of them renews. Figures are US prices; checkout shows the amount set for your region.
Can the interviewer see the copilot on a screen share?
The answer window is a separate desktop window, not part of the meeting page, and it is excluded from screen sharing, window capture and screenshots on Windows and macOS. On a Mac, sharing the entire screen has a documented caveat in the macOS screen-share guide. Test your exact share mode with the free mock interview first.
Which meeting apps does it work with?
Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Slack huddles and any other call your computer can hear, including a phone screen on speaker. AceRound listens to the call audio, so there is nothing to install inside the meeting app and nothing joins the call.
Which interview languages are supported?
English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Vietnamese, Russian and Arabic. You can set up to four languages for one interview and switch between them with one click.
Does it run on Mac, Windows and Linux?
It runs on Windows 10 2004 or later and macOS 13 or later. There is no Linux build of the Interview Copilot yet.
